Webchat button displayed when on a web chat

Hello Genesys Cloud

We are testing having a webchat on multiple web-pages and most of the time, when changing page the web-socket reloads fine and the chat continues. However, sometimes the "Chat offer" button surfaces again and we receive the error in the logs. I've tested this with refreshing the page with the web chat and see the same behaviour.

Error (WebChat.hideChatButton): Chat button is already hidden. Ignoring command.

This occurs randomly, sometimes on the first page we navigate, other times we can navigate to 10 different pages before it occurs.

I've uploaded an image of the error and you can view the chat offer behind the web chat screen, if the error does not show, the chat button isn't visible.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts or feedback, I can provide a test website if needed.

Hello,

Could you please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care so it can be investigated? It might be a race condition between some widgets modules.
