The purecloud-webrtc-sdk version v1.x (all versions under the major version 1) is being deprecated. It will continue to function through the end of 2019. In early 2020, the websocket service used by the WebRTC SDK v1.x will be terminated, and any applications built with the WebRTC SDK v1.x will no longer function.
Version 2.0.0 has full backward compatibility with no breaking API changes, so it's an easy migration. Please prepare your migration to version 2.0.0 now. If you have any questions or need any developer support, post in our WebRTC SDK category.
