WeChat Integration with Genesys

Hi Team,

I have few questions related to WeChat integration -

1.The live chat is possible to be used with wechat ?|

2.Is WeChat capability is available for china ?

Please help with the solutions and also the steps to integrate Wechat with Genesys

Hi Pooja,

Per this forum post Genesys Cloud does not have native support for WeChat. You can build your own integration middleware using our OpenMessaging API implementation. You can find links to our open messaging API in the above forum post.

As for your second question. I have no idea. WeChat is not a Genesys product or partner so we have no insight as to whether it is available in China. I recommend you research the WeChat website.

As John just wrote, Genesys Cloud does not have native integration (built-in) with WeChat.

Open Messaging is indeed a possible path for you if you want to develop your own integration (code) between WeChat and Genesys Cloud.

If you are looking for a built solution, there are a set of AppFoundry partners (3rd party applications) that appear to offer integration with WeChat. Their integration can be purchased directly from the AppFoundry site.
If you search "wechat" on the AppFoundry marketplace, you will see that a couple of the returned entries propose connectivity with WeChat.
