What is the real format for the CSV file used to import users?

The article in Add people with .csv file import - Genesys Cloud Resource Center describes how a CSV file must look which can be used to import users into the cloud.
There are, however, some missing points:

  • What is the correct format of the skill list? Should it contain just skill names, or also the skill levels?
  • What is the correct format of the "roles_divisions" column? Should it contain only the role names, or also the role grants to divisions? The example CSV file which I can download from the Genesys browser UI looks different - when I switch to a German locale, it even has German column titles, it contains different columns, and it also contains the role grants, but in a not clearly specified format

Is there a more precise specification for all columns of this CSV?

Hi there, the same page has this to say about skills:

To upload Skills with Proficiency via the .csv, add the skill and proficiency, separated by a colon. Separate multiple skills by a comma. For example, Skill1:5,Skill2:3,Skill3:1 and so on.

OK, thanks, so the skills line is clear. This leaves open the question about the "roles_divisions" column's format.

Thank you, will try it out.
The format of the headers does conflict with that described in Add people with .csv file import - Genesys Cloud Resource Center, however - the "hire_date" column is not documented in that help page - is it required or optional?

Did try it out - it seems that "hire_date" is really optional - the import also works without this column. The role assignment format is now clear to me - thanks!
