I've recognized that you could activate short-term messages on the WhatsApp business account so all messages within a WhatsApp discussion vanish after 120 days.
If I activate this feature messages will vanish from the communications in Genesys or do we maintain them anyhow?

Hi there, can you provide more details on where you see this WhatsApp feature in the business account (perhaps a screenshot or link to an article)? I don't believe WhatsApp supports "Disappearing Messages" for Business Accounts as yet - at least for numbers that are registered to the WhatsApp Business Platform, hence Genesys Cloud is not currently designed to make WhatsApp messages disappear from the Agent UI.
