Widget 2.0 - Overlay Feature

Hi all,

I am just wondering if widget 2.0 on PureCloud has an option to apply an overlay, similar to the one detailed in the link below for PureEngage.

Basically one of our clients has been using widget 1.0 for webchat but we want to transition them to 2.0 for chat flow and other benefits that it provides. In 1.0, we had the flexibility to apply an overlay, so when the chat has ended an overlay appears inviting the customer to request a transcript. An input text field is included in the overlay for the customer to provide an email address, but if it was provided at launch stage this would be auto-populated.

We are hoping to achieve something similar in 2.0 as the transition would be a non runner for us unless we can replicate this functionality, but I am struggling to find any reference to this for PureCloud.

Would be very grateful for any advice or pointers anyone can provide.

The PureCloud WebChat 2.0 widget uses the same underlying widget technology as the PureEngage widget. The documentation you linked applies to the PureCloud widget as well and is linked to from this section: https://developer.mypurecloud.com/api/webchat/widget-version2.html#advanced_usage
