I cannot see how I can make an authenticated chat with widget2. All examples i've seen is with widget1.
Does widget2 support authenticated chat?

This is very important for the client I'm working with, that they have to have mobile support and authentication. What are the options? Third party chat widget with authentication is also not supported. Do I have to recommend to use an another chat system?
When can it be expected that Widget v2 will have authentication support?
We are tracking the feature request to support authenticated chat for v2 widget here: https://purecloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CLDIG-I-476. The effort has not begun yet and at this point, we are thinking we will be able to offer it sometime next year but it is too soon to provide any specific dates.
