I'm looking for some guidance on setting up the SCIM mapping in Okta for the Zoom phone. The integration is up and everything else appears to be in place but we're having trouble getting this one mapping set.
The SCIM field is phoneNumbers[type eq "zoomphone"].value and it maps to the GC Field UserProfile.contactInfo.[0].phone_other.[0].value.number. We set this up in Active Directory to demo this for the customer and we had no issue mapping that over but the customer is using Okta as their SCIM provider.
Tried several variations when attempting to add an attribute mapping but can't seem to get it set.
Here are the mappings in AD. We mapped the telephoneNumber AD Attribute to the zoomphone PureCloud Attribute. When users are imported the Zoom extension gets populated in Other Phone for the user and they show up in the directory with a Zoom badge on their profile. Presence is syncing properly so we can see when Zoom users are Available, Busy, etc.
I have not set up a custom mapping, but I see two choices on how to do this.
The first is if the okta primaryPhone is the zoom phone and the phone you need to map to Genesys.
This is a pretty simple case. All that needs to be done is change to primaryPhoneType in the Okta -> Genesys mappings to be "zoomphone" as done in the screen snip below:
The second option is if you need a separate phone mapping. In that case the Profile Editor will need to be used to add a new attribute for the zoom type. It might be as simple as adding a type with the below attributes and using it in the Genesys Cloud Attribute Mappings once created.
