Ability to retrieve extension number from ANI

I've recently been thinking about how to implement the option to call a Genesys user directly on a shared number, with the extension added at the end, separated by #

I can dial a number like 02255245#101 and the call will connect fine. But I cannot find any Flow variable that would have the part after the inbound number.

I found this post by @jweidmann which describes more or less the same thing I'm trying to do.

If this is currently not possible, is it perhaps something that is on the roadmap for the future?

I don't think this is currently available and I don't see an idea for it in the ideas portal, so I'd suggest that you could submit it.
