Can a call go through multiple divisions?

I am using the post_analytics_conversations_details_query API and see the division_ids are being returned as an Array/List, can a call belong to multiple division_ids?

Yes, that is why it is expressed that way.

What happens when a call goes through two division x, y and I only have permission for x(home division) and not y?

If you don't have access to a division, you can't see division-aware data from that division.

I understood that a conversation record was visible in it's entirety as long as you had access to at least one of it's divisions?

It's virtually never documented exactly how divisions are applied per API endpoint. The general guidance is what I've stated above unless specific documentation exists otherwise; there isn't any for analytics AFAIK.

There is this page in the Resource Center with some examples about how being in different divisions affects conversations' visibility.
