We have been implementing a chat solution for our client using widget 1.0 as only widget 1.0 supports Co-Browse.
While testing we have found that during an active chat conversation, if the person who has initiated the chat intentionally / accidentally, sometimes the chat conversation gets disconnected but sometimes not totally, it remains active on genesys side, however from customer side it gets closed.
Can you please suggest how to handle this type of scenario.
If the guest just up and disappears without ending the chat, it will time out after a period of time if they do not reconnect. I believe that is 15 minutes. At that time, the guest will be disconnected and the agent can complete the conversation.
