Dual channel or text enabled voice Toll Free Number

Is it possible to have an inbound voice toll free number that potentially could receive text messages? In the event a text is received on the inbound voice TFN we just want to send an auto-response to contact us another way.

Other than what needs to happen on the back end, I'm not sure how to recognize that a text came into a voice flow and transfer to a message flow - is there an API for that?

Does the Inbound voice TFN have to be registered for messaging verification?
