Hello Team

With respect to the upcoming change. I have few questions

(Enhanced configuration and migration process for AudioHook Monitor - Genesys Cloud Resource Center)

Currently we use audio hook integration to grab the audio for our internal process. Before establishing WebSocket connection we check if agent has subscribed to voice transcription on the queue(using GetRoutingQueueRequest) as this step ensures/confirms that audio can be retrieved from audio hook via socket connection.

So we request our clients to enable voice transcription always. Will this new change impact us ? I am assuming it would not have any impacts and we should be able to get audio from audio hooks as long as voice transcription is enabled and audio monitor config should have no impacts.

Hi Darwin,

Once the migration process is complete there is no link between voice transcription and AudioHook Monitor, they will both function independently. So an agent subscribing to voice transcription will have no baring on if AudioHook Monitor will stream or not.
