Hi. I am making an alternative to a bridge server that is automatically being synced to Active Directory. For some reason it is not possible to manually delete the users that has been created during the sync process. However, if we create the users manually in purecloud, we are also able to delete them.
Are the users being synced to AD by current bridge server being marked somehow? If so, does Genesys provide any way for me to do this marking in my own code?
First, I must mention the Azure AD user provisioning app (https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/configure-azure-active-directory-for-genesys-cloud-scim-identity-management/) as an alternative to the bridge server AD connector. This is the recommended migration path for existing customers leveraging the Bridge.
Second, individual users can be deleted from the person details page, but the bulk operations are currently blocked if the user was provisioned by an external entity (bridge). This check is in the process of being removed now that the Bridge deprecation is nearing its final stages. Note that this is a UI only restriction, the API still allows for users to be deleted.
