Field was generated by SCIM integration for AAD and ever since it popped up, it causes issues across our organization. Sadly initial feedback supports that it's removal is not possible by AAD(?) and the field itself is not editable on Genesys Cloud, like for example the "Work Phone" field.
The issue is Azure AD which ignore any fields set to null or empty and does not push that change out via a SCIM Patch. So currently via ADD, there is no way to clear it from there.
Currently the only way to clear the value would be by using the SCIM API vai public API.
I will advise our PM that the ability to clear out the fields is causing customer concerns and see if we can come up some idea on how to mitigate this.
The impact we have at our client is all Internal calls are NOT routing to the Genesys SelectedPhone of the agent IF he has a microsoftTeams number added under "OtherPhone"
We are in a situation to remove the OtherPhones imported to Genesys Users in order to get it working, but it is required for Teams Integration.
And as you say, Azure can't fix it, now for client it is a Genesys issue which is affecting Genesys users.operations.
