Send email with external SMTP

Hello,

Like Purecloud is limited to send only 1 Auto reply per conversation, I have installed a custom SMTP Server in Admin/Integration and configured credentials.
I have tested this API /api/v2/routing/email/domains/${input.domainId}/testconnection, which enable to send mail with external SMTP server, but used in Architect with a data action, the result fails althought when I test this API from the dataction created, it is ok and I receive the email in my mailbox.
I have the impression this API can be used only for test purpose.
Do you have API suggestion for send email with an external SMTP Server?

Yes, the /testconnection API is used to send a test email only.

Auto replies are limited to 1 auto-reply per email thread regardless of whether you are using SMTP or not.

Thanks for quick answer. In other words we cannot sent another mail for replace the second auto reply.
I thought, if we purchase email service provider we can send mail.

At this time, the SMTP functionality didn't alert any email functionality beyond the ability to use your own SMTP server to send email so same restrictions as before apply.

The link you posted is if you are using services and APIs completely outside of Genesys Cloud. SMTP email is still provided via Genesys Cloud.
