Sending Context to Web Messaging Session

With the new Web Messaging API, is there a way to send context into the session which the agent can see when they accept the chat? For instance, if application sitting in front of the Web Messaging API is a Chat bot. The desire would be to send conversation which occurred into the session so the agent could see it. Also it would be good to send context like what actions where completed or the intent of the conversation going into the session.

I looked at the API and don't see any ability to send either of these.

For any chat-bot integration with Web Messaging, we always recommend using Architect for bots. See: About bots - Genesys Cloud Resource Center
The advantage of this approach is that it addresses context sharing between bot and rest of Genesys platform. With this integration model, the Bot is triggered by Genesys Cloud backend. And for Web Messaging we also have possibility to use new Bot Connector (as an Architect action), in case you Bot doesn't fall under the main integrations (Dialogflow, Lex, Nuance).
