HI guys
Just to clear it up for me, when I've got the SCIM app to scope with only a speciifc user group in AD, why would I see a bunch of users NOT in that group attempting to be provisioned but with the note "Skipped"? Does it look at ALL users in AD and only THEN does it look to see if they're in my target provisioning group? We're also seeing users that ARE in the target group but are still showing script but without any useful error message. Compariing their AD profiles to a "working" user they seem to be identical with regards to config/fields.
Also, can someone please clarify and explain the differences between create, update, delete and what may go wrong if the wrong one of those is chosen by an AD admin? Ie if it's set to create only, does that mean the user will get provisioned to GC but if they're removed from the group in AD they'll stay active in GC?
The resource article says:
- Provisioning can add users to a public group or remove users from a public group in Genesys Cloud, but cannot create or delete groups in Genesys Cloud. If you are syncing groups, only select Update .
So I assume if we're synching by group, we select Update, but what if we're adding users individually to the enterprise SCIM app, which option should be used there?
