"Sorry, there is a problem with the organization you provided" when logging in with Code Authorization flow

I'm creating a web app that uses the OAuth Code Authorization flow

Because we have two orgs, usually when I log into the Genesys console, I need to click the "More Login Options" link on the login screen and provide the organisation name.

When trying to do this with my OAuth client I get an error "Sorry, there is a problem with the organization you provided"

If I just enter my email and password I get "There was a problem logging you in. Please check your email address and password and try again."

Please could you advise what might need changing

Make sure you're using the correct org short name and are authorizing in the correct region in which the org exists. If you are doing all that correctly and this issue continues, please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to investigate as we do not have access to your org's data via the forum.

In my case, needed to change from

login.mypurecloud.com in the examples to

login.euw2.pure.cloud
