transferType in "replace" API endpoint

Hello,

I made some tests with this API endpoint:
POST /api/v2/conversations/emails/{conversationId}/participants/{participantId}/replace

I am wondering about the transferType request property there. There is no comment or something link this in the API endpoint in dev center for that parameter. And it is a not required parameter.

Is there any need or difference when I set this to "Attended" or "Unattended"? I made some testing with replace active participant to another agent and/or queue but did not see really differences, when I don't set this property or set it to specific value.

And which of that both values above are the default value?

I can't find any detailled infos about this in the dev center, dev forum and/or resource center. Maybe someone here has more infos about this and for which variants the transferType parameter stands for?

That field appears to be lacking any documentation. Please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to report the missing documentation as a bug. They will be able to also clarify the intended behavior at that time.

thanks for your fast answer. Looks like a vicious cycle to me... We already have a long-running Case in Customer Care ( #0003368407 )and finally they said today to me to repost my question here in dev forum to get an answer live from the developers which behaviour that transferType parameter has.

I will add another comment to the Case as well and will mention your post here about that documentation bug.

That's not appropriate. Missing documentation is a bug and must be handled by Care. If you get any pushback on that, ping me here and I'll escalate from my side.

currently they ignored my request on the Case to do the necessary steps to add the missing description for the "transferType" property. I added another comment some seconds ago on the Case. Maybe you can escalate this as well from your side?
