Unathenticated Redis Server

Our organization recently migrated from PureConnect to Genesys Cloud. We host a web server that houses our GC Web Chat sites.

This server has a Redis server which does not require authentication or access or administer.

Is this an old holdover setting from PureConnect, and can it be disabled without affecting our web chat sites? If so, what would be the best way of disabling it?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You should follow up with your internal IT groups about that part of your infrastructure to find out who owns it and what purpose it serves. A customer-hosted Redis instance is not part of Genesys Cloud or its web chat offering.
