Unique Chat Link on Specific Web Page

We recently launched an open order tracker search for customers. We point customers to this in our chat bot and have a chat widget that does the same. We want to put in a customized chat link that will point customers to a chat queue if they have questions or issues. We want to avoid the customers that use this order tracker to begin the whole entire chat experience all over again.

You might want to consider looking at our web messenger component instead of the chat widget. The chat widget was version 1 of our chat capabilities and while we support it there is not a lot of new R&D work going on it.

The web messenger component can maintain a customer conversation for up to 72 hours. I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for but it might be a good place to start.

Here is an example blueprint that demonstrates a web messaging chatbot that shows a rough outline of what you are looking for.

Interesting use-case: can you share more detailed description?
Would it be fair to assume that customers may be required to sign-in to the website to resume conversation? This is one use-case we released recently with Authenticated Web Messaging.

Indeed, I suggest to start investing into Web Messaging, particularly for use-cases that imply asynchronous conversations. We are also investigating how to enable session resumption via temporary link.
