Summary: The behavior of the direction dimension changes.
Impact: In January, we added a new originatingDirection that tracks the direction of a conversation at the conversation level. In addition to that, we are now updating the behavior of the direction dimension so it purely reflects the direction at a session level. This results in 2 changes:
- The direction for callback sessions is now always outbound (instead of inbound).
- Previously, if a conversation started as an outbound dialer campaign, all voice sessions were treated as outbound. This is no longer the case, the voice session direction will now reflect the actual direction of that part of the conversation.
The behavior now matches that of other services.
