Description
Genesys is sunsetting the Native X (formally Twitter) third-party messaging channel. As part of this feature deprecation, we will also deprecate (and ultimately remove) the Twitter API resources. The end result will be that Twitter integrations will not be able to be created, updated, or deleted and existing Twitter integrations will not be able to send or receive messages.

Change Context
With pricing changes made by X (formally Twitter) in 2023, the costs for using X with Genesys Cloud has raised significantly. In order to support a commercially viable X direct messaging channel, we will discontinue the support of our current channel and work towards creation of a new integration offer with much reduced costs to our customers.
Change Impact
Once we make this change, you will no longer be able to create, update, or delete Twitter Integrations via the APIs and will no longer be able to send or receive messages for Twitter.
We expect no impact to customers; our logs indicate zero customer utilization since Twitter's price change in June 2023.
