Platform Limit Event - LIMIT-0001 will reduce number of events produced

Description

Updates are being implemented for certain limits that generate Operational Event LIMIT-0001, as documented in Genesys Cloud Developer Center.

There will be a behaviour change for the following 3 platform api limits that produce LIMIT-0001 events.
These limits are:

  1. token.rate.per.minute
  2. client.credential.token.rate.per.minute
  3. org.app.user.rate.per.minute

These limits can be viewed at Genesys Cloud Developer Center .

Currently, these limits trigger events when a rate limit exceeds 90% of its allowed requests for all applications utilizing the Platform API. Following this update, events will only be generated for custom applications; events will no longer be produced for Genesys' own applications.

Change Context

The current volume of LIMIT-0001 operational events, many of which are outside of customer control, contributes to excessive noise. This change aims to reduce this noise by filtering events generated by Genesys' internal applications.

Change Impact

Events that were previously generated when Genesys' applications exceeded the 90% threshold will no longer be produced. This change will only affect the generation of LIMIT-0001 events related to the specified platform api limits.
