New dimensions in analytics

Category: API
Summary: New dimensions originatingDirection and sessionDnis
Impact: We are adding 2 new dimensions to improve on the existing direction and dnis logic.
The direction dimension represents the direction of the current session (inbound or outbound) but doesn't represent the direction at a conversation level. originatingDirection* will be the direction that a conversation started with.
dnis is the dialed number for a conversation (or one leg of a conversation if e.g. there are callback attempts), if a call gets transferred dnis doesn't the change. sessionDnis covers this case and represents the dialed number for the current session.

Hi Peter,

To be clear is the sessionDnis the segment DNIS, or the conversation DNIS.

SessionDNIS = Call Segment DNIS ; DNIS = Conversation DNIS
or
SessioDNIS = Conversation DNIS; DNIS = Call Segment DNIS

Does this also apply to the ANI since the last change:

also affected the ANI

Regards,

sessionDnis = segmentDnis (segments are just parts of a session, the addresses stay constant over the segments).

We haven't planned any changes to ani as of now.
