Description
Genesys is removing the Legacy Co-browse and Screenshare capabilities including a handful of related APIs which will no longer serve a purpose. When the removal is complete, these features will no longer be accessible from the Genesys Cloud Admin UI, nor can they be proposed during Chat and Voice conversations.

Legacy Co-browse has been replaced by the new Co-browse for Messenger, supporting Web Messaging and Voice. In the case of Screenshare, significant investment is needed to continue the support and this feature sees very little usage. Due to this, Genesys has chosen to remove Screenshare.
Change Impact
Co-browse deployments will no longer be able to be accessed or created. When the related Legacy Co-browse and Screenshare permissions are removed, agents will no longer have a way to elevate conversations to these features.
